Costa Rica is located in the first place in Latin American countries and the number 13 Worldwide for third -year -old operations or what is known as outsourcing.
This according to the version 2013 of the "list of the 100 Best destinations for tertiary service operations ”conducted by the Global Tholons consulting firm.
The report reflects the dynamics and development of countries that serve as headquarters for companies in this industry.
Costa Rica improved five positions with respect to 2012 and stands out in the corporate and information technology industry worldwide.
“San José Costa Rica remains one of the most impressive destinations in the region. San José climbed five positions compared to the previous index, consolidating the city as one of the great winners on the 2013 list ”says the report.
It also highlights service operations in areas such as finance, accounting and outsourcing of knowledge processes.
The Minister of Foreign Trade, Anabel González considers that all this is attributed to the work done to consolidate the services sector in the country.
For its part, Gabriela Llobet, General Director of Cinde explained that Tholons' list clearly reflects the great progress of the country as the headquarters for high value added services operations.
